Committee

Challenging our youth to be the best they can be.

The Stampede Showband Committee is one of 54 volunteer committees at the Calgary Stampede.  It is a volunteer supported, not-for-profit community organization created in 1971 that helps manage the Stampede Showriders and bring a permanent equestrian presence to the annual Calgary Stampede.

As part of its overall responsibilities, the Committee is charged with providing equestrian instruction for Showriders members. This is accomplished through the Director of Bands and the staff of instructors.
