Auditions for the Stampede Showriders are held each fall to assess the abilities of the riders and the suitability of the horses. Members come from across Southern Alberta and each must have previous riding experience as well they must provide their own horse.
For the upcoming 2011-2012 season, auditions will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Al Azhar FezDome, Calgary. Please RSVP by Friday, October 14, 2011 by calling 403.261.9318 or emailing showriders@calgarystampede.com. Auditions are open to all youth ages 14-21 and those who are accepted into the program are able to earn High School Work Experience credits.
